We love to serve our youth!
Sunday Mornings:
Nursery is offered during the morning worship services.
A room is devoted to children 3 and under with age appropriate toys, books, and other necessary items such as a pack and play, high chair, and changing table. Parents/guardians are welcome to leave their children with a volunteer, join their child/children during the morning worship in the nursery, or use the room as needed.
Classes are offered during the 10:30 service:
Child Crusaders (PreK-5th grade):
Parents/Guardians are to sign their child/children in on the table
Children begin with worship, a time of prayer, communion, and offering
Lesson time with games & other learning activities are provided
Parents/Guardians are to sign their child/children out at the end of the service
Middle School (6th-8th grade):
Middle School students begin with praise and worship time out front with the congregation
Prior to the sermon, students are dismissed to the back for an age appropriate lesson & time of prayer, offering, and communion
High School (9th-12th grade):
High School students participate in the worship and sermon time with the congregation.
Immediately following the sermon, the teens are dismissed to the back for a time of discussion/reflection of the sermon topic and a time of communion, offering, and prayer
Sunday Evenings:
Youth groups for ages PreK-12th grade are held at 6PM.
This is a time where kids meet together for a time of devotion and fellowship through worship, games, service projects, team building activities, etc.
There are two groups: PreK – 5th and 6th – 12th grade.
In addition throughout the year, there are many activities that the youth participate in:
Christmas Program
Family Skate Night
Valentine’s Day Dinner Hosted by the Youth
PCTC (Pennsylvania Christian Teen Convention) for 6th -12th grade
Super Saturday Event (Summer)
Service Projects
Family Sundays (Youth Participate in the Morning Worship Service)
Back to School Bash
Area Wide Youth Events with our Sister Churches
Host a Booth at the Community Day in the Park held at War Memorial Park
